Coach Carter is a local physician and former member of the Duke University Varsity Women's Basketball Team. As a Pediatrician, Dr. Carter has first hand knowledge of the benefits of competitive sports on the growth and development of adolescents both on and off the court.

Coach White is a McMurry University basketball Hall of Fame member, two-time All American, and 1982 NBA San Antonio Spurs Draftee. With over 10 years of coaching experience, Coach White is dedicated to the development of each athlete.

Jim Thrash is in his 4th year as Assistant Coach on the Hoopstars staff. Jim came to the Hoopstars after spending three years as Head Coach in the CY-Fair Athletics AAU Program. Coach Thrash assists in all phases of the game.
